Elektrojazz Newyork tribute app for iPhone and iPad

Elektrojazz love New York. And we love music. That´s why we decided to make a musical tribute to NYC. In 2016, Elektrojazz gathered in New York. Co-writing sessions with talented NYC artists in our home-away-from-home Harlem flat led to an intense studio session in Brooklyn. All the lyrics are related to New York, and we have tried to capture the pulse, feel and smell of the city in our music.

We also went around Manhattan to do on-location recordings of street musicians, people and places, and added the Elektrojazz flavour on top. We even had a subway train doubling as a horn section. Quite musical, it turns out, those MTA cars!

This free app will give you the full experience of this project. The main page of the app is a map over New York. We added a fictive subway line as our track list. Click on any station, and you will hear the corresponding song.

You will also find lot of bonus material; videos, lyrics, photos, contact info and extended description of our New York project.

We are proud to present our new album as an app. It is a mix of soul and R&B, instrumental groove jazz, spoken word and beat-boxing, all related to New York.
